We have been getting reports that people are having problems confirming a service project for this program.  Or that they have requested information from the agency looking for volunteers, and not hearing back.

If you are in a similar boat, you may want to check the site again, as it looks like a lot more opportunities have become available!  What’s even better is that quite a few can be done at home, and then dropped off at a designated time and place, taking only a few minutes to do.  You could make scrapbook pages for the orphanages of Haiti, collect car detailing supplies for a car makeover, or coordinate a water bottle collection effort.  You may choose to entertain seniors at a senior center, sew race flags, or clean up neighborhoods in Sugarhouse instead. 

What ever you pick, we suggest a job that has a real time counter of how many people they need, and already shows the date.  This way you don’t have to wait for the agency to call you, you just sign up right there! Easy!
