So much to see and explore for any age! This museum rarely discounts so be on the lookout for 2 for 1 coupons that sometimes pop up in newspaper inserts, as well as in the utah family publication found at most libraries.

When you arrive at the museum, be sure to ask at the front counter for a list of the scheduled classes for that day, as well as any special exhibits they have going on right then. They have great instuctors and your child will love the little worshops and classes!

Another Tip: Park in Winter parking and ask for a validation. They sell them for $1 and makes it $1 for up to three hours, with the convenience of nearby parking.

Ongoing in August~Thanksgiving Point $2 Tuesdays are back!

Just a reminder…

This was a huge hit last year, Thanksgiving Point is offering $2 admission per person to any venue on Tuesdays in August! You can chose between Museum of Ancient Life, Farm Country, and the Thanksgiving Point Gardens, and for this this price, it is a total steal! However, expect to wait in long lines even at time of opening. We recommend the Gardens as the place to visit since the open space is much more conducive to accommodating masses of people.

Ooh and this is fun! The website says:
“What Else is $2?• Cooking Classes. Bring a friend for $2. Register for any Emporium Kitchen cooking classes in August and pay just $2 to bring a friend. (Please call 801.768.2300 to register).

Ongoing~Artist Designed Mini Golf at the Salt Lake Art Center

This is an art exhibit like you probably have not seen before! A fully playable miniature golf course made from contemporary art, and it’s free to play! Admission is always free at the Art Center.

The exhibit runs through the 16th of September.

Ongoing~Treehouse Museum in Ogden

Did you know that the Treehouse museum recieved a brand new home in 2006? It is located in downtown Ogden, just 3 blocks from the Frontrunner stop! The site has much more info on this as well as maps and directions, plus a printable $1 off coupon. Go HERE to their site.

Here are the other ongoing weekly discounts that they have.

Toddler Time on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and on Wednesdays from 1 to 3 p.m. (Toddler Time is not held on statewide Monday school holidays)

Theater Thursday on Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m.

Alphabet Soup on Friday nights from 6 to 8 p.m. Admission for the two hours of these sponsored programs is $3 for children (under age 6 at Toddler Time) and $1 for their adults.
