One of our favorite things is taking the kids to tour and see people at work in a factory!

Mrs. Fields has a cookie factory in Salt Lake now!

We checked out the tour this summer and it was great. This is a free, 30 minute tour. Very impressed with how friendly they were over there. They do not have the tour fully functional as they are working on getting the video and memorabilia to show, but still worth having an inside peak into how they make so many cookies and ship them everywhere! In time, it will get even better.

At the end of the tour you end up at the gift shop (funny how that always happens) and you can try samples of yummy little nibblers and buy some to take home. They also have frozen yogurt. You can book your tour online and print the forms needed to take with you.

my KidsEye view tip: go on an earlier tour as there is more going on.
