Sorry~this deal is over, they have filled the 1 million slots already!

Okay, we wanted to wait on this post until we had tried it out so we can be sure to give you more information and help with any questions that you might have.

Remember last year’s Disney promotion, the one where you got a free pass on your birthday? Well this year Disney has an even better deal, unless of course each person in your family happens to have the same birthday.  This year, they are allowing each person in your family (over the age of 6!), to do some service for a local non-profit organization, in exchange for…drumroll please…one free ticket per person to either Disneyland or Disneyworld!!! Yeah!

You have to sign up for a qualifying project and be approved, then about a week or two after completing the service hours, (for us it was one week) you will get a confirmation email saying that you can print your passes.  There are a few black out dates of course, but not a lot, and for the most part, your ticket is good for any day up until December 15th of 2010.  There are, however, A LOT of terms and conditions so make sure you read them all, like you have to present ID for each adult or a valid birth certificate for children under 18.  But we can assure you that it works!

The only problem is that there are limited quantities of tickets so the sooner the better!

Also, about the service.  There is a variety of different kinds of work you can do, and be sure to click on the box that refines your search if you need something age appropriate for your children.  Apparently they are adding to this list all of the time, and if you know of a good non-profit that could benefit from being a part of this program, they can apply to do so.

If anyone else has success with this please be sure to let us know!
